Are you an Intern looking for Supervision?

(Please note that I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Oregon and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)  in California.)

Finding a supervisor for your clients and licensure is one of the most important decisions you make in your career. Having worked at various training centers and agencies before becoming a licensed therapist myself, I know the challenge very well. Personally, I was very fortunate in that the quality of supervision I received again and again from supervisors was very challenging yet nurturing. My approach to supervision will be a collaborative venture with you as every intern has their own needs and preferences. My aim is to help you grow into the best therapist you wish to be, and to share what I have learned along the way from my own experiences, and that of my colleagues and supervisors. I know it can be an anxiety- provoking venture working one's way towards licensure. Please feel free to contact me with any questions and for an initial meeting to see if we may be a good fit together.  I may be reached at (503) 450-9902.

Beginning in July 2011, I will be offering supervision to interns both indivdually as well as in groups. My fee for individual supervision will be $60 per hour for the first six months, and $80 for the second. My fee for group supervision will be $50 per hour. My goal is to keep my supervision rates affordable as I know expenses are high when one is just starting in the field.

I received my Supervisor Training from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon in 2011, and have been a supervisee/intern myself at the following locations over the years: Morrison Child and Family Services (Portland, OR), LifeWorks Northwest (Portland, OR), Southern California Counseling Center (Los Angeles, CA), and The Maple Counseling Center (Beverly Hills, CA).
